Banking technology team- Application support I Job Description: The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. The application support candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of our applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and security. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in one or more programming languages such as Python, SQL. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, and deployment. Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues promptly. Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, SQL, Java, C++, C#, .Net Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices. Good database experience- ETL, SQL, Maintenance, tuning, SQL querying skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL SERVER, Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL). Knowledge of windows system maintenance/Virtual machine maintenance Fircosoft system, Actimize system experience highly preferred Scripting experience in power shell highly preferred Any other work assigned by IT Department Management
