Software Developer

We are looking for a Software Developer to join a collaborative team in Columbus, Ohio and create dependable applications that support critical business operations. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys building solutions across both back-end and front-end technologies while partnering closely with technical teams and business stakeholders. The role offers the chance to contribute to application enhancement, problem-solving, and ongoing delivery of well-designed software., Create, enhance, and support business applications using C# and .NET technologies across the full development lifecycle. Develop responsive user-facing functionality with JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web standards to deliver a smooth experience. Design and refine interactions with relational databases, including writing and improving SQL queries for performance and reliability. Investigate application issues, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions that improve long-term system stability. Work closely with developers, architects, and business partners to translate requirements into effective technical outcomes. Participate in solution planning, peer code reviews, and team technical discussions to maintain strong engineering standards. Contribute to software quality practices such as testing, version control, and continuous integration and deployment activities.

At least 7 years of experience in software development roles. Strong hands-on background with C# and .NET or .NET Framework development. Solid front-end development experience using JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience working with relational databases and writing or optimizing SQL queries. Understanding of software engineering practices including testing, source control, CI/CD, and code quality standards. Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
