Software Engineer

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join their growing technology team in the Phoenix area. This role offers the opportunity to design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that support critical business operations and enhance customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, a passion for technology, and experience working in collaborative Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications and services.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established development standards and best practices.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.

• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services.

• Optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and security.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for software solutions and development processes.

• Support software releases and production deployments as needed.

• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.

• Experience developing web applications, APIs, and enterprise software solutions.

• Working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Experience with source control tools such as Git.

• Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.

• Knowledge of front-end frameworks including React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Understanding of software security best practices and application performance optimization.
