Frontend Engineer

Our platform allows customers to effectively and easily manage the complex collaboration and coordination necessary to see their projects through all phases of construction., * Write clean, reliable and secure code in different languages and technologies (mostly Typescript, JavaScript, React, HTML)

• Develop and maintain unit tests and E2E tests; strive to automate testing as much as possible
• Help divide large features into clear, manageable tasks
• Align activities with stakeholders, influence decisions and help lead projects to completion
• Actively collaborate within and outside of the team, bringing new ideas and challenging the status quo
• Participate in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to highest standards
• Understand, embrace, and promote agile methodologies, principles, and values within the team, * You will be part of an agile team of smart and highly motivated engineers building world-class cloud software applications and services
• You will work in a global team and collaborate with local and remote colleagues from various disciplines like business, engineering, design, operations, support etc
• You will work with latest technologies in a flexible environment

• BSc in Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science is a typical qualification but we are open to candidates who took other paths into the world of software engineering
• Experience as a software developer using JavaScript, TypeScript and React
• Ability to write clean, readable code in different languages
• Proficient experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress
• Can understand and explain complex technical systems and processes in simple terms
• Focused and motivated to drive projects through to completion
• An agile mindset with experience using supporting processes like Scrum, Kanban or similar
• Good communication and people skills - you need to be comfortable communicating with many different people in the business, local and remote
• Excellent debugging, testing, and technical problem-solving skills and an aptitude to learn new technologies and methodologies
• Familiarity with source control and continuous integration methodologies and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Mobx, Redux and Webpack is a plus
• Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and experience working with a deployment pipeline based on cloud native technologies (Docker), * You are a fast learner and keen to work with latest tools and technologies available. You are a perpetual learner and often find yourself ideating about new and improved ways of doing things and are confident to share your ideas with the rest of the engineering team
• You get work done together. As a team player and effective communicator, you easily build collaborative relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues. You enjoy working with distributed team members
• You have a strong desire and ability to deliver results. You can succeed and consistently reach the highest standards in a dynamic, agile environment with changing priorities. You can work independently and manage multiple tasks with direction or feedback from stakeholders and team members

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
