Job description
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Director of Facilities & Security Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of our facilities management and security protocols. In this vital role, you will ensure the safety, functionality, and maintenance of our wedding venues and operational spaces. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold safety standards, and foster a secure environment that aligns with our commitment to exceptional service and memorable experiences., * Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and security systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance repair procedures, safety regulations, and facilities management policies aligned with OSHA standards.
- Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical systems using schematics, electrical experience, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to schedule maintenance tasks, track work orders, and optimize operational workflows.
- Lead projects related to facilities upgrades or renovations while managing budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
- Conduct regular inspections of all facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards; respond promptly to any issues or emergencies.
- Maintain detailed documentation on maintenance activities, safety protocols, schematics, electrical systems, HVAC systems repair records, and security procedures.
Requirements
- Proven management experience supervising facilities maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance and repair, electrical systems expertise, and industrial maintenance skills.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and safety regulations compliance practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication purposes.
- Experience managing facilities maintenance management systems (CMMS) for scheduling and recordkeeping.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams related to electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing networks, and mechanical systems.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership qualities with supervisory experience managing diverse teams; strong team management skills are essential.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting, and engineering troubleshooting techniques is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication across teams; additional language skills are a plus.
