Job description
- Administer and support SharePoint sites, including internal collaboration, publishing, and intranet platforms.
- Develop, design, and enhance SharePoint site collections, libraries, lists, and custom workflows using tools like SharePoint Designer and InfoPath.
- Collaborate with site owners to gather requirements, develop site solutions, and enforce governance standards.
- Manage permissions, security, and enterprise content to ensure compliance and optimal organization.
- Lead technical training sessions and support end-user adoption of SharePoint technologies.
- Utilize your skills in .NET, PowerShell, HTML, XML, C#, CSS, JavaScript, and related libraries to develop tailored solutions.
- Monitor project lifecycles, troubleshoot issues, and implement system upgrades in line with district standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams on IT project management, risk mitigation, and system maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise computing systems and technologies.
- Solid knowledge of SharePoint 2010/2013 platforms and related technologies.
- Experience with SharePoint site design, governance, and advanced configuration.
- Proficiency in programming and scripting languages including .NET, PowerShell, HTML, XML, C#, CSS, JavaScript, and supporting libraries such as jQuery.
- Familiarity with tools like Metalogix Control Point and Content Matrix is a plus.
- Strong documentation, change management, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and collaborating across departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with SharePoint migration and upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of enterprise content management and compliance standards.
- Background in training or user adoption initiatives.
- Familiarity with additional collaborative/social technologies and interfaces to external applications.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelorâs degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise IT environments, specifically with SharePoint.
Other Requirements:
- Some local travel to various site locations may be required.
- Relevant certifications in SharePoint or IT project management are advantageous.
