Job description

Join CTG and help drive enterprise data modernization initiatives by transforming legacy data processing into scalable cloud-based solutions. We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, Talend, SAS migration, PySpark, SQL, and cloud technologies to design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines. This role is ideal for a data professional who enjoys solving complex data integration challenges and working with large-scale enterprise data environments., * Analyze and convert legacy SAS code, macros, and batch workflows into modern Snowflake and Talend solutions.

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Talend and Snowflake.
  • Build scalable data ingestion and transformation processes using SQL and PySpark.
  • Create source-to-target mapping documentation and technical specifications.
  • Develop reusable, parameterized Talend jobs supporting DEV, QA, and Production environments.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver reliable, high-performance data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, validation, and performance throughout the migration lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Snowflake , Talend , PySpark , SQL , and Unix/Linux .
  • Expertise analyzing and migrating SAS code to cloud-based data platforms.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise ETL/ELT design, data warehousing, and data integration best practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile development teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
