Find your future with us.\n \n \nBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for \nSystems Integration Engineers (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our\n 787 Systems Integration Engineering team in\n North Charleston, South Carolina.\n \n The Systems Integration Engineer will work with a dynamic and diverse Systems Integration team that supports the design, configuration, production, certification, and delivery of 787s. The Systems integration team supports large-scale multisystem projects from concept, to integrated testing, certification, production incorporation, and delivery.\n \n The 787 program is undertaking a number of significant improvements including new features and capabilities to enhance this already highly capable airplane. Additionally, the Systems Integration team supports the entire 787 fleet in service, leading resolution to fleet and safety issues, customer commitments, and overall airplane system product strategy. This opportunity will provide the engineer with a detailed exposure of the core systems components at the heart of the 787, learning about systems interfaces, airplane level thinking, change management, and project management. Successful candidates will have a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, solve complex problems, present information to executive leadership, and build and execute integrated project plans.\n \n Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including \nMid-Level \n(Level 3) and Senior (Level 4) System Integration Engineers.\n \n \nPrimary Responsibilities:\n \n \n

  • Supports cross-functional teams through the development and integration of large-scale multi-system projects\n
  • Work with multiple airplane systems including Environmental Controls Systems, Mechanical Hydraulics, Flight Controls, Electrical Sub-Systems, Electrical Design and Standards, Flight Deck, Cabin Systems, Network Systems, Avionics Systems, and Cyber Security and will lead these teams through a variety of complex projects\n
  • Collaborate with airplane safety, regulatory administration, and various 787 program teams such as change management, supply chain, production engineering, manufacturing engineering, operations, and delivery centers\n
  • Implements systems engineering best practices, and process improvements\n
