- Coordinate the credentialing and recredentialing process for medical staff and allied health providers.
- Verify provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, certifications, work history, malpractice coverage, and professional references.
- Assist with Medical Staff committee meeting preparation, including agenda development, credentialing reports, and committee documentation.
- Monitor expiration dates for licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, and other required credentials.
- Ensure compliance with standards established by CMS, state regulations, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and providers to resolve credentialing issues efficiently.
Requirements
AMG, Integrated Healthcare Management (AMG Corporate) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Staff Credentialing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will manage the credentialing and recredentialing process for physicians and allied health professionals across the AMG hospital system. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in a healthcare credentialing environment. This is not a remote or hybrid position., * HIM and/or Medical Staff credentialing experience preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, and hospital leadership.
