Job description

  • Ensures all daily scheduled computer production work is completed accurately.
  • Provides daily monitoring of computer platforms.
  • Conducts scheduling and system monitoring tasks using appropriate tools.
  • Troubleshoots operational issues as 1st level support and notifies appropriate support personnel for problem resolution.
  • Records all trouble ticket issues/incidents and provides follow-up to customers.
  • Provides 1st level help desk and online business application support during and after normal business hours.
  • Ensures all problems and issues reported to computer operations are recorded in the incident reporting log for review or action by Operations or IT Management.
  • Communicates with all areas and levels within the organization.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in Mainframe development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders., * JES (Scheduling).
  • JCL.
  • SDSF.
  • OpCon or any other scheduling tool (Control-M or CA7 etc.) experience.
