Job description

  • Ensure test execution aligns with applicable standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461).

Test Setup & Execution

  • Set up and operate environmental test equipment such as:

o Vibration tables

o Thermal chambers

o Shock testers and environmental chambers

  • Develop and execute test procedures and acceptance test plans (ATPs). (Tektronix…t Engineer Outlook)

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect and analyze test data using data acquisition systems
  • Identify failure modes and conduct root cause analysis
  • Generate detailed qualification reports with recommendations for design improvements
  • Document test results to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards (RE: Job Re…st support Outlook)

Design & Development Support

  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering teams to validate designs
  • Provide feedback to improve product reliability and manufacturability
  • Support design verification and product qualification efforts across the lifecycle

Additional Skills & Qualifications

SECRET clearance required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
  • 3-8+ years of experience in environmental testing or qualification engineering
  • Hands-on experience with:

o Vibration, shock, thermal, and humidity testing

o Environmental lab equipment and instrumentation

  • Familiarity with military or industry standards (MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, AS9100 preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills

Benefits & conditions

This is a Contract position based out of Nashua, NH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $47.12 - $105.00/hr.
