Job description

We’re hiring a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to design, build, and automate cloud networking infrastructure that supports secure, high-performance platforms. In this role, you’ll lead the way in building scalable AWS network architectures, automating deployments, and ensuring reliability across environments. You’ll collaborate across teams to align network design with security, performance, and application needs.

What you’ll be doing

Design and manage AWS cloud networks (VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, VPN, Load Balancing, CloudWan , Route53, Route53 profiles , ACM , PCA ACM)

Automate network infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar IaC tools

Monitor and troubleshoot network issues to improve availability, latency, and connectivity

Enforce cloud network security standards and implement access controls

Manage DNS and IP addressing schemes using Amazon Route 53 and ensure proper integration with on-premises networks

Support multi-account networking strategies using SCPs and AWS Organizations

Partner with platform, security, and application teams to support connectivity needs

Document architectures, network flows, and operational runbooks

Good understanding of Public CA’s & Private CA’s

Develop and implement network security policies using AWS Security Groups, Network ACLs, and AWS WAF to control access and protect cloud infrastructure.

Stay current with AWS networking best practices, emerging services, and industry trends to continuously improve cloud network infrastructure

Requirements

5+ years in cloud or network engineering, including experience with AWS

Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (Routing, DNS, firewalls, NAT, Vpc peering , Transit gateway , Cloud Wan )

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code -Terraform(mandatory), CDK

Proficient with network monitoring and diagnostics tools (e.g., VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch, Datadog)

Security-first mindset with experience enforcing policies and segmentation

Effective communicator who works well across teams

Added bonus if you have

Experience with container networking (Kubernetes, ECS)

Background in hybrid cloud or multi-region AWS environments

Interest in mentoring or driving network automation best practices

Scripting language knowledge -Python / Nodejs

Understanding of AWS services - Control tower, Account factory, Service catalog
