Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Onsite IT Technician to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our organization’s technology infrastructure. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support, providing hands-on assistance with hardware, software, and network issues. Your expertise will help maintain optimal system performance, troubleshoot technical problems efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer support to all users. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly on-site, collaborate with a talented team, and make a tangible impact on our daily operations., * Provide immediate onsite technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organization

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
  • Manage help desk tickets efficiently using designated support systems to track and document issues and resolutions
  • Support computer networking tasks including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting
  • Assist with Active Directory management tasks such as user account creation, permissions adjustments, and GPO (Group Policy Object) configurations
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux, and Microsoft Windows Server environments
  • Collaborate with team members to analyze system logs, identify recurring issues, and implement preventative measures for IT infrastructure stability, Join us as an Onsite IT Technician to be at the forefront of maintaining our technological backbone! Requirements

  • Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong focus on hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with help desk systems for ticket management
  • Solid understanding of computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience supporting Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, Linux operating systems, and related hardware components
  • Ability to manage Active Directory accounts and perform user access control tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented approach to technical support
  • Strong analysis skills to diagnose complex technical issues quickly and accurately
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including routers, switches, mobile devices, and computer hardware support
  • Ability to work independently on-site while collaborating effectively with remote teams when necessary
