Lead Coordination of Benefits Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead COB Functional Solution Architect & Delivery Lead to drive the design, execution, and delivery of a critical Coordination of Benefits (COB) workstream within a large-scale healthcare payer transformation program. This role will serve as the functional owner and strategic leader responsible for delivering an integrated COB solution supporting both Commercial and Medicare lines of business.

The client, a major Blue Cross Blue Shield organization, is undergoing a core platform transformation, migrating from Highmark’s enGen platform to an internally managed ecosystem centered around the Facets core administration platform. As part of this effort, the COB function is transitioning from an out-of-the-box product to a custom-designed solution leveraging Facets, Pega, and Salesforce.

This individual will be responsible for defining the end-to-end COB operating model, leading cross-functional teams, managing program risks and dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of a highly integrated, enterprise-scale solution.

• 10+ years of experience within the healthcare payer industry.
• Deep expertise in Coordination of Benefits (COB) processes, business rules, and operations across Commercial and Medicare plans.
• 5+ years of experience serving as a Functional Architect, Delivery Lead, Program Lead, or similar leadership role on large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with at least two of the following platforms:
• Facets
• Pega
• Salesforce
• Strong understanding of the third platform and its role within integrated enterprise solutions.
• Proven success leading complex multi-platform implementations and enterprise transformation programs.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable functional and technical solutions.
• Strong working knowledge of API-driven integrations, data exchange processes, and enterprise architecture principles.
• Experience leading Agile delivery teams within complex, multi-vendor environments.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills., * Experience working with or migrating from Highmark’s enGen platform.
• Prior experience designing and implementing custom COB solutions rather than solely deploying packaged products.
• PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar project/program management certification.
• Consulting or systems integration experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale healthcare payer modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards, claims processing, eligibility, enrollment, and care management workflows.

Pay: $125.00 - $150.00 per hour
