Ready for the Next Step? Apply Today if this role fits your background and the kind of engineering work you want to own next.

Requirements

Your day-to-day will involve full life-cycle development of cutting-edge embedded software. You will translate complex Simulink models into clean, efficient Embedded C, then rigorously test and integrate your code using AUTOSAR frameworks and CAN diagnostic tools. Every project is a clean-sheet design, not an update of legacy systems, so your problem-solving skills will be exercised at the highest level. The impact of your work will be visible on the road, in advanced driver-assistance systems and electrified powertrains that set new standards for safety and performance. The ideal candidate is a deeply technical professional who thrives at the driver level, writing code that directly controls hardware. You have at least seven years of experience, know AUTOSAR inside and out, and can hit the ground running with CANalyzer, CANoe, and related tools. More importantly, you bring a genuine curiosity and a collaborative spirit that make you a perfect fit for this close-knit, engineering-first culture. If you have a stable work history and can point to successful launches of new automotive technologies, you could be the one they are looking for. This opportunity comes with a strong support system-full benefits from day one, relocation assistance, and a clear path from a W2 contract to a permanent direct-hire position. The Bay City/Midland area offers an outstanding quality of life, with excellent schools, dining, and recreation, all at a cost of living that lets your salary go further. If you are ready to put your expert-level C and AUTOSAR skills to work on the future of mobility, apply today and let’s start a conversation about how you can be part of this exciting journey. Non-Negotiables

  • You have at least 7 years of full life-cycle embedded software development experience, working at the driver level rather than solely on application code
  • You are an expert in C programming for automotive embedded systems and have deep, demonstrable experience with AUTOSAR
  • You possess a working knowledge of CAN tools and protocols, such as CANalyzer, CANoe, or similar
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field
  • You have a stable work history and hands-on experience in the automotive or vehicle industry, including heavy truck or agricultural equipment
  • You are eligible to work on a W2 basis in the United States and do not require future visa sponsorship beyond an H1B transfer or TN status, * An MSEE degree is a plus, though not required
  • Experience with ISO 26262 functional safety standards is highly regarded
  • Familiarity with additional CAN tools such as CANape or in-depth CAN BUS analysis will set you apart
  • Experience in adjacent vehicle sectors like heavy trucks, agricultural equipment, or ATVs is beneficial
  • You have a proven track record of delivering first-generation products rather than sustaining existing systems
  • Background in Simulink model translation or model-based development is an advantage

Benefits & conditions

  • You will receive a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, with potential flexibility for exceptional expertise
  • Full benefits are provided from day one, including medical, dental, vision, and additional coverage
  • The company offers relocation assistance to help you settle into the Bay City area, a community celebrated for its quality of life and affordability
  • High-performing engineers enjoy a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to balance focused in-office collaboration with remote flexibility
  • You will join a management team that genuinely values your input and supports professional growth through both technical and leadership career paths
  • This contract-to-direct-hire position provides a clear pathway to permanent employment and long-term stability with an industry leader
