Job description
- Apply advanced statistical analysis and predictive analytics techniques to complex mission datasets.
- Develop and deploy models for entity resolution, graph analytics, and operational intelligence.
- Design and implement AI-enabled workflows and applications to enhance mission efficiency.
- Focus on Explainable AI (XAI) to ensure model transparency, interpretability, and responsible use.
- Utilize Python AI ecosystems and LLM frameworks (PyTorch, Scikit-learn) for model development and implementation.
Requirements
MANTECH seeks motivated, career, and customer-oriented Data Scientist for a new initiative within the National Capital Region. This effort supports the rapid design, deployment, operation, and sustainment of enterprise-scale AI, data, and mission platform capabilities across cloud, edge, and classified operational environment., * 7 or more years of experience in data science, machine learning, or operational intelligence. Relevant additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant analytical libraries (e.g., PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and deploying models to production.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define and measure operational value.
- Proven experience designing, building, securing or monitoring scalable solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Azure Security Center)., * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field.
- Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) frameworks and fine-tuning techniques.
- Familiarity with geospatial analytics tools.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a relevant quantitative discipline.
Clearance Requirements:
- TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph
Physical Requirements:
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
