Video Management System Technician

• Configure cameras for deployment (network configuration, views, streams, etc.)
• Commissioning cameras (predominantly Axis cameras) based on industry best practices
• Assist VMS Admin in developing and maintaining Genetec VMS System
• Assist in Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and cabling installation
• Assist in CCTV coverage design
• Work with vendors to facilitate and troubleshoot CCTV and cabling installation
• Familiarity with IP networking (VLANs, PoE, IP addressing, etc.)
• Assist with reviewing and writing technical documentation
• Assist with basic Genetec System functions and troubleshooting (user access issues and new user account)
• Attention to detail and ability to follow commissioning processes
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
• Available after hours / On Call
• Perform related duties as directed.

Do you have experience in Video surveillance?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * B.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. OR

• High School Diploma with Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience working in an enterprise infrastructure environment in addition to the time required in the Minimum Qualifications. Minimum Qualifications 1) Three (3) years servicing CCTV applications 2) One (1) year working with CCTV cameras. 3) One-Three (1-3) years using CCTV a coverage software (for example Site Designer, IPVM, CAD, etc.), * CCTV applications : 5 years (Required)
