This leadership opportunity is ideal for a forward-thinking technology executive who thrives with autonomy and knows how to turn IT strategy into scalable business results., * Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with business growth.
- Lead IT infrastructure, networks, cloud services, hardware, and enterprise systems.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage IT leaders and technology staff.
- Establish cybersecurity protocols and oversee technology risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with applicable data privacy and security requirements.
- Manage the annual IT budget, technology investments, and procurement.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee technology partnerships.
- Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Partner with department leaders to identify and address technology needs.
- Optimize system performance, operational reliability, and user satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field required
- MBA or master’s degree in information systems preferred
- CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Cisco, Microsoft, or Azure certifications preferred
IT Director - Skills + Experience Requirements
- 7-10+ years of progressive information technology experience.
- 3-5+ years of IT leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience developing and executing enterprise IT strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, ERP, CRM, WMS, and Shopify systems.
- Strong cybersecurity, risk management, and data privacy compliance knowledge.
- IT budgeting, technology procurement, and vendor contract negotiation experience.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing IT teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate independently and lead technology initiatives with autonomy.
