Job description
The IT Manager is responsible for the design, maintenance, and implementation of the organization’s IT infrastructure and will oversee all Campus IT activities. The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of the Windows desktop & server operating systems, current equipment and technologies. This team member should also possess strong creative and analytical thinking skills., * System management: Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and scalable. This includes designing, deploying, and supporting networks, servers, databases, VoIP phones, proximity locks and other hardware and software systems.
- Technical support: Aid and support end-users regarding computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Hardware inventory: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Security: Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and disaster recovery planning.
- Operations: Oversee maintenance, troubleshooting, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Project management: Prioritize projects, oversee timelines, and implement.
- Training: Implement training schedules for team members and other employees.
- Auditing: Arrange for regular audits of the system.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Writing skills?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The IT Manager is also responsible for a small mixed employee and volunteer team, that grows during the annual SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo. The ideal candidate should work well with others and appropriately delegate projects and tasks., * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work.
- Must be able to prioritize workload in an organized fashion, using time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy.
- Ability/willingness to travel up to 10%., * Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar technical support role.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, CCNA) are a plus.
- Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows) and server administration including Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 to include Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Experience with Fortigate firewalls is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
