Job description

Insight Global is seeking a UI/UX Designer for a customer of ours in the fintech space. This individual will play a critical role in building and governing a scalable design system, helping to establish foundational standards, processes, and best practices within a growing design organization. This is a technical, design-first role that requires deep experience in design system architecture and strong collaboration with engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in less structured environments and can take ownership of design system development from the ground up. This is a fully remote opportunity in LATAM.

Requirements

5+ years of experience as a UX/Product Designer with strong technical fluency in HTML, CSS, and Angular.

Proven experience building and governing design systems from the ground up.

Advanced Figma expertise (tokens, variables, variants, auto layout, libraries, branching)

Experience establishing design governance, standards, and processes.

Ability to operate as a self-starter in early-stage / less mature environments.

Strong understanding of enterprise design principles (scalability, usability, consistency). Experience forking/extending existing design systems vs. greenfield builds

Exposure to DesignOps and maturing design organizations

Experience with ANT Design or similar enterprise frameworks

Familiarity with AI tools (Copilot, Claude, etc.) used responsibly to enhance-not replace-hands-on work

Benefits & conditions

$22/hr USD to $ 26/hr USD

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of
