Job description

  • Design and maintain LabVIEW applications specifically for automated test systems.
  • Create and maintain Virtual Instruments (VIs).
  • Control and interface with a variety of hardware, including DAQ devices, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
  • Develop and execute test scripts, test sequences, and detailed procedures for product validation.
  • Provide essential support for production testing activities.
  • Collect, meticulously analyze, and report comprehensive test data.
  • Ensure that all test results strictly comply with product specifications.
  • Collaborate effectively with manufacturing and design engineers to optimize processes.
  • Identify and implement improvements for test coverage and troubleshooting processes.
  • Provide ongoing support for automated validation and production test systems.
  • Apply knowledge of aerospace electrical system products and systems where applicable.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced LabVIEW Engineer to design, develop, and debug software for automated validation and production testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand, with a proven track record of creating Virtual Instruments and interfacing with diverse hardware, including data acquisition devices and laboratory instruments. This role is critical in ensuring the generation of high-quality test data and supporting robust test automation systems., * Experience: 8+ years of experience as a LabVIEW Engineer, specifically supporting Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

  • LabVIEW Proficiency: Strong programming skills in NI LabVIEW.
  • TestStand Expertise: Hands-on experience with NI TestStand.
  • National Instruments Hardware: Experience with National Instruments hardware platforms, including PXI and cRIO.
  • Hardware Integration: Proven experience integrating DAQ devices and various laboratory instruments.
  • Communication Protocols: Familiarity and experience with several communication protocols, including TCP/IP, Serial, CAN, Bluetooth, SPI, and I2C.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills.
