Jr. Software Engineer - Java (Aviation Systems)

• Work on high-throughput, highly reliable systems

• Assist with application upgrades and modernization efforts

• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on core platform improvements

• Participate across the full SDLC

Candidates must have 1-3 years of hands-on Java experience in an enterprise environment (banking, financial services, or similar large-scale environments preferred).

Messaging technologies (MQ, JMS, etc.) are nice-to-have only, not required.

All candidates must be local to Annapolis, MD and able to work on-site four days per week., * 1-3 years of hands-on Java development experience

• Experience working in enterprise environments (banking, financial services, or similar strongly preferred)

• Experience supporting production-level applications

• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work on-site in Annapolis, MD four days per week, * JMS

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Annapolis, MD. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $48.00/hr.
