Application Developer

We’re looking for an Application Developer like you to help solve our clients’ most complex mission challenges.

As an Application Developer at EverWatch, you’ll work as part of a collaborative development team to design, develop, test, and deploy application features that support Command and Control (C2) and dataflow solutions. Using modern development tools and technologies, you’ll build and enhance software applications, automate testing, and contribute to continuous integration and deployment efforts. You’ll also work closely with technical teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, and maintainable software.

You Have:

• 6+ years of experience developing software applications using Java, including Spring Boot
• 5+ years of experience in software system design, development, integration, and testing
• 2+ years of experience developing in Python, including creating test drivers and automation scripts
• Experience developing software in a Linux environment
• Experience applying object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practices
• Experience with continuous integration and automated build/test processes
• TS/SCI clearance with a Polygraph
• HS Diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience developing or integrating with JMS technologies, such as ActiveMQ
• Experience developing in Ruby
• Experience using Python to develop automation tools, utilities, or prototypes
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with source code management tools such as Git, Bitbucket, or Subversion
• Experience using Maven for build automation
• Experience developing Command and Control (C2) user interface features or dataflow applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55.28 to $80.00 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees
