INTAKE NOTES: Fully backend and platform focus Team the position is on Team : 5 engineers Enterprise team that works across a lot of engineering teams Responsible for: Own and maintain API gateways and token services for OAuth flows Support a lot of other security as it pertains to API’s Looking for a DevOps engineer (Software Engineer with DevOps experience) Building deploying and operating Focused in Automation Java Shop, want them to work with Team once DevOps is established Technology: Kubernetes Helm Charts Java and Spring boot AWS EKS Elastic Kubernetes Service API gateway and Security experience NICE TO HAVE: GitHub / GitOps IAAS Terraform API Gateway Methodologies: Pair Programming every story is 2 engineers per story CI/CD GitHub Actions Location: Local, In office weekly, The Enterprise API Management team builds and manages solutions to support the enterprise API management capability along with supporting enterprise token services. We are committed to delivering the right software at the right time. This role is on an engineering team that encourages pair programming and test-driven development (TDD), We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Enterprise API Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, and operating our platform and services, with an emphasis on automation, reliability, and secure-by-default delivery. This role partners closely with engineers through collaboration and pair programming to improve CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting practices, and operational readiness, and it also requires some software development experience (e.g., ability to read/debug code and contribute when needed). Technologies involved include Kubernetes, Helm charts, Java/Spring Boot, AWS offerings (certification preferred), and API platform capabilities such as API Gateway and security., Hiring Manager to discuss the role and determine high-level fit Interview Panel of 1-2 Devs + Hiring Manager: 1.5 hour: prefer Onsite Panel Interview 30 minutes Java Coding exercise 45-60 minutes technical questions based on experience, related to: DevOps Java and Spring framework
