Job description

Description: This is a brand new, high-priority project. This team will be responsible for aggregating data sources to create a clear picture of what infrastructure was requested, what infrastructure was deployed, and proactively alert on any discrepancies. The team’s application will then be used by subject matter experts to investigate, create, and iterate on best practices and deployment rules. Then, the team will proactively identify and alert when requested or provisioned infrastructure breaks those best practices and rules. This team must interact with many stakeholders from across the organization and iterate as frequently as possible. As a full-stack software engineer, you will design and build systems that aggregate and reconcile disparate datasets, helping customers see a clear picture of their environments. You will also contribute to proactive rule and compliance checks, ensuring best practices are continuously upheld., * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications (frontend and backend).

  • Implement APIs and services to aggregate infrastructure request vs. realization data.
  • Build alerting mechanisms for discrepancies and compliance violations.
  • Develop intuitive UIs for visualizing infrastructure data and alerts.
  • Collaborate with DevOps engineers to deploy and monitor solutions at scale.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Experience with modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, Rancher, and AWS.
  • Database experience across relational, document, and graph stores.
  • Familiarity with metrics and monitoring tools (Grafana, Elastic APM).
  • Knowledge of ETL and streaming data pipelines (e.g. Kafka, NiFi, etc.).

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience analyzing cyber security-related data sets (network traffic, OS events).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems.
  • Experience with production CNO capabilities and operations.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitLab.
  • Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence).

YOE Requirement: 3 yrs., B.S. in a technical discipline or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
