Systems Engineer - Mid

JTEC Consulting is hiring a mid-level System Engineer to provide system lifecycle support. Qualified candidates will have demonstrated analytical and technical skills to support a dynamic technical environment. Current U.S. government security access is required for consideration., * Work as part of a collaborative team supporting design, development, integration, and maintenance for complex technical systems.

• Ensure reliable operation to meet organizational requirements.
• Interact with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into efficient and effective system solutions.
• Apply analytical skills for troubleshooting and issue resolution, and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate system performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendor partners, as required.
• Promote industry best practices to meet customer’s requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
• Current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Education: Engineering or other technical discipline related to systems engineering such as computer science, physics, or math
• Experience: Bachelor’s with 7 years of related experience OR Master’s with 5 year of related experience OR PhD with 3 years of related experience

• 3-7 years of hands-on experience supporting the systems engineering lifecycle including: o Design and development o Testing o Production o Deployment and distribution o Operation o Maintenance and support o Decommissioning

• Effective written and verbal English communication skills to work in a collaborative environment with government and contractor teams
• Must be self-driven and able to work independently in a dynamic environment that offers stretch growth opportunities for continuous learning and development

The estimated salary range displayed in this posting is dependent upon position requirements, individual qualifications, education, experience, location, and other job related factors. Our recruiting team will review candidates’ related experience and desired salary targets during the evaluation process. All qualified candidates will be considered.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $145,000 per year
