What To Expect This role will work closely with fellow team members and various other IT staff to ensure proper management of the asset lifecycle at Company. The Administrator must have a strong understanding of asset management disciplines and have experience working in a scale fast-paced corporate environment., * Develop and implement strategies for the procurement, deployment, utilization, and retirement of IT assets.

Provide prompt hardware support to reduce downtime and improve end-user satisfaction

Collaborate with the IT support team to resolve escalated hardware issues efficiently

Coordinate logistics to ensure timely hardware availability for projects

Prepare, label, and configure IT assets for deployment

Skills in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning related to IT assets.

Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, finance, procurement, and senior management.

Track asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring timely updates and documentation.

Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to manage asset acquisition and budgeting.

Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and company policies.

Conduct regular audits to verify asset accuracy and identify discrepancies.

Optimize asset utilization and recommend cost-saving measures.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT assets and services.

Provide training and support to staff on asset management processes and tools.

Generate reports and provide insights on asset performance and utilization.

Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, finance, procurement, and senior management.
Requirements

Should be able to create a CMDB repository Should have understanding of the software development lifecycle

Experience of working in a multi-site environment

Extensive experience with SCM tools and with build automation software
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field with 5 years + experience

Proven experience in IT asset management or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of IT asset management tools and software.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
-
Familiarity with procurement and financial processes related to IT assets.
-
Vendor Management Lead negotiations to obtain the best pricing structures and contractual agreements across hardware, connectivity, and IT service providers. Align agreements with company standards and competitive market benchmarks. Cultivate strategic supplier relationships to navigate supply challenges proactively and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
