Senior Frontend Developer

An Insight Global client in the Houston area is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join their team onsite in the Westchase area and join a high-performing product development team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining modern, scalable web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers. Additionally, this position is ideal for a front-end specialist who enjoys owning the user interface while maintaining an understanding of the broader application architecture. This person will play a key role in building reusable components, optimizing application performance, and delivering intuitive, responsive user experiences that support business objectives. The pay rate for this candidate will range from $60 - $70/hr based on years of experience.

• 7+ years of software development experience (flexible for exceptional candidates)
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Java, and HTML5
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of modern front-end architecture, state management, and component-based development
• Experience with Git and Agile development environments
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Exposure to .NET applications and APIs
• Experience with MongoDB
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch/Elastic Stack
