Job description

We’re looking for a UX Designer to join the Cross-Border Shopping UX team, delivering end-to-end design solutions across global e-commerce experiences that help customers discover and purchase products from around the world. You’ll work across multiple product areas spanning Shopping CX and Apps, partnering closely with product, engineering, and research to ship customer-facing experiences at scale.

Key job responsibilities Own end-to-end UX design for cross-border shopping features

Deliver high-quality interaction design, visual design, and prototypes that solve complex customer problems

Collaborate with PM, engineering, and research partners to define problem spaces, explore solutions, and iterate based on data and feedback

Contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across multiple international marketplaces

Present design rationale clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while advocating for customer needs

Operate in fast-paced sprint cycles, managing multiple concurrent workstreams with minimal oversight

About the team Cross-Border Shopping UX is a high-impact design team embedded within Amazon’s cross-border organization. We own the end-to-end customer experience across multiple product areas spanning cross-border shopping and standalone apps. We operate on 2-week sprints, move fast, and ship globally. Every designer on this team owns multiple workstreams and has outsized influence on product direction - you won’t be pushing pixels in a corner. You’ll be shaping how hundreds of millions of customers discover and buy products across borders.

Requirements

5+ years of design experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
  • Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
  • Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
  • Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams, Experience leveraging generative AI tools to accelerate design workflows, ideation, or prototyping
