Job description
As an IT manager at Level20, you’ll drive execution, delivery, and coordination for technology professionals building new products in a product incubator space. This includes software development, infrastructure design, and related service management and process improvement activities. In this delivery-oriented role, you’ll plan, track, and apply dependency management strategies to ensure work progresses from concept to launch. You’ll work closely with product, operations, and partners to align day-to-day execution with business goals. You’ll coordinate work across multiple lanes (production support and new product delivery), removing blockers, managing timelines, and ensuring commitments are met. You’ll support technology professionals’ growth through coaching and career development, and partner with leadership on service management activities such as maintaining service definitions, technology roadmaps, and delivery plans.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Team management?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Minimum 4 years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.
- {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 1 year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.
Preferred skills
- Proven success owning projects and work delivery across initiatives, including planning, coordination, execution, and work tracking, supported by broad IT knowledge (software development, DevOps, systems, and service management) and strong learning agility
- Strong ability to prioritize and deliver work across competing demands, balancing new product delivery and production support while managing dependencies, risks, and timelines
- Demonstrated execution leadership through effective work assignment, progress monitoring, blocker removal, standards alignment, and consistent delivery against commitments
- Effective collaborator with business stakeholders, IT partners, and vendors, providing clear communication on delivery status, milestones, risks, and outcomes
- Experience leading, developing, and supporting senior technical professionals, emphasizing career pathing, upskilling, and delivery enablement to help teams operate at a high level, Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need, of current or future sponsorship for employment.
