Job description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer 3 to support advanced aerospace and defense programs focused on EA-18G Growler systems development. This role involves embedded real-time software development, Agile collaboration, system integration, and software lifecycle support within mission-critical DoD environments., * Develop and maintain embedded real-time software systems

  • Program using Ada, C/C++, C#, and Python
  • Support software integration, troubleshooting, and defect resolution
  • Participate in Agile Scrum team activities and software development lifecycle processes
  • Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and technical meetings
  • Utilize development tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, ClearCase, and DOORS
  • Support software development within Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments

Requirements

Do you have experience in Version control?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Bachelor’s degree in STEM field with 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience

  • Experience with:
  • Ada, C/C++, or C#
  • Object-oriented software development
  • Version control systems such as Git or ClearCase
  • Ability to work in integrated engineering teams
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher (interim Secret acceptable)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Embedded real-time software development experience
  • Agile/Scrum environment experience
  • Experience supporting large-scale DoD programs
  • Electronic Warfare systems experience preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, * This position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance . Do you meet these requirements?
  • Can you describe your experience developing embedded real-time software systems within aerospace, defense, or similar environments?
  • What experience do you have programming with Ada, C/C++, C#, or Python? Which language have you used most recently?
  • Have you worked with real-time operating systems (RTOS), Linux, or Windows environments for embedded software development? Please explain your experience.
  • Have you worked within Agile/Scrum environments and participated in the full software development lifecycle for large-scale programs?
  • Which version control and development tools have you used (Git, Bitbucket, Jira, ClearCase, DOORS, etc.)?
