Job description

Design, develop, test, and maintain real-time embedded software applications
Develop software solutions using C and C++ (C++11 or higher)
Support Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) integration and testing activities
Work within Linux and Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) environments
Support simulation systems and embedded software validation
Collaborate with systems engineering, hardware, software, and test teams
Participate in software troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization
Contribute to Agile/Scrum development activities
Maintain software documentation and support configuration management processes
Utilize Git, GitLab, and JIRA for source control and project tracking

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software engineering?, We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in C/C++ real-time embedded systems and hands-on Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) experience to support advanced aerospace and defense programs in Grand Prairie, TX.

This role involves developing, testing, and supporting real-time embedded software within complex simulation and hardware environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in cross-functional engineering teams and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle in mission-critical systems., * Active Secret Security Clearance

Bachelor’s degree in:
Computer Engineering
Computer Science
Electrical Engineering
Or related technical field
Minimum 4+ years of experience in embedded software engineering
Strong programming experience with:
C
C++ (version 11 or higher)
Experience with:
Linux systems
Real-Time Operating Environments
Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) systems
Real-time embedded systems
Simulation systems
Ability to work onsite full-time in Grand Prairie, TX

Preferred Qualifications

Ada programming experience
Full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) experience
Agile/Scrum development experience
Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams
Familiarity with:
Git
GitLab
