Job description

As a Software Test Engineer in the Customer Competence Center, you are part of a strong team that works holistically on exciting and challenging projects for one of our largest customers. Together with over 40 dedicated colleagues, you develop tailor-made IT solutions, from standard to individual software, and ensure smooth operation and continuous development. Thanks to our unique combination of internal expertise and strong external partnerships, you will work with us to create innovative, sustainable and customer-focused IT solutions that offer real added value.

  • Quality assurance of complex applications in the SAP ERP environment
  • Preparation of test cases, test scenarios and test reports
  • Planning, execution and documentation of software tests (manual and automated)
  • Carrying out unit, integration and release tests
  • Analysis, documentation and tracking of errors in close cooperation with development and specialist departments
  • Active participation in the continuous optimization of test processes

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in software testing in the area of SAP ERP
  • Completed technical education and ISTQB certification
  • Experience with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
  • Practice in testing complex application landscapes, ideally SAP ERP
  • Profound knowledge of test design, test case preparation and test documentation
  • Experience with common testing methods (e.g. black box, regression testing) and bug tracking tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail)
  • Familiar with Linux and Windows environments
  • Experience in test automation (e.g. Tosca) and API testing (e.g. SOAP UI, Postman) is an advantage
  • Analytical, structured and quality-oriented way of working
  • Ability to work in a team, communication skills and work independently
  • Very good written and spoken German language skills

For legal reasons, we provide information about the minimum annual salary of €55356.00 gross for full-time employment (38.5 hours).
