Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer (6 years of experience) to join a one-year project in Brussels, Belgium. The role follows a hybrid work model, with 50% office presence. The start date is as soon as possible., * Develop, implement, and maintain data pipelines.

• Integrate data from different sources and systems.
• Structure and organize data in data warehouses and/or data lakes.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and availability.
• Optimize data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Automate workflows and monitor pipeline performance.
• Collaborate with Data, IT, and business teams.

• Six years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python is required.
• Experience with Spark, Airflow, and dbt is required.
• Knowledge of data warehouse and data lake architectures is required.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is required.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data modeling is required.
• English, French and Dutch proficiency.
