Job description

We are looking for a Data Scientist (6 years of experience) to join a one-year project in Brussels, Belgium. The role follows a hybrid work model, with 50% office presence. The start date is as soon as possible., * Develop statistical, predictive and machine learning models.

  • Analyse large volumes of data to address business challenges.
  • Prepare, clean and transform data for analysis and modelling.
  • Identify patterns, trends and opportunities.
  • Evaluate, validate and optimise model performance.
  • Present results and recommendations to technical and business teams.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts and other stakeholders.
  • Document methodologies, models and results.

Requirements

  • Six years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and/or R.
  • Good knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, predictive modelling and data preparation.
  • English, French and Dutch proficiency.
