Mainframe Application Designer

The role requires an experienced mainframe professional who can translate business requirements into high-level and detailed application designs for development projects.

Key requirements include:

• Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies, including PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL and CICS
• Experience creating high-level and detailed application designs from business requirements
• Strong understanding of mainframe application development
• Ability to collaborate with application owners, business analysts, testers, operations teams and other project stakeholders
• Domain experience in capital markets or investment banking
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technologies and delivery methodologies quickly
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within global and cross-functional teams
