Job description

Translate business requirements into high-level solution designs and detailed application designs.
Design mainframe applications using PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS.
Provide hands-on solution architecture expertise throughout development projects.
Collaborate closely with application owners, business analysts, developers, testers, and operations teams.
Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical and business challenges.
Contribute effectively within an Agile delivery environment.
Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders across global teams.
Learn and apply new technologies and delivery methodologies as required.

Requirements

8-10 years of relevant professional experience.
Hands-on experience working as a Solution Architect.
Strong knowledge of mainframe concepts and technologies, including PL/I, JCL, DB2, SQL, and CICS.
Proven experience creating high-level and detailed application designs from business requirements.
Experience with IBM System Z and mainframe DB2 environments.
Domain knowledge of capital markets or investment banking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile and globally distributed environments.
Ability to learn new technologies and methodologies quickly.
