Data Engineer

A growing, innovation-driven company is seeking a Data Engineer to help build and optimize its modern data platform. In this role, you will design and maintain scalable data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the business. Working closely with both technical and business stakeholders, you will play a key role in developing a future-proof cloud data environment.

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and data architecture.
• Integrate, transform, and manage data from multiple business systems.
• Develop and maintain scalable data models and support enterprise reporting.
• Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Contribute to data governance, security, and best practices.
• Support the organization’s digital transformation through modern data engineering practices

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong experience with SQL, relational databases, and dimensional data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and data integration/transformation techniques.
• Experience with Power BI, CRM platforms, and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
• Understanding of data security and cybersecurity best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Dutch and English , French is a huge plus
