C# Developer - Front Office / Investment bank

The RoleAs a Senior C# Developer, you’ll play a key role in designing, developing and enhancing enterprise-grade applications that support critical Front Office functions. You’ll contribute to the migration towards modern event-driven architectures while collaborating closely with business users and fellow developers to deliver robust, scalable solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain high-quality C# .NET applications.Build scalable services within a modern event-driven architecture.Work closely with Front Office users to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.Contribute to architectural decisions and software best practices.Support continuous improvement across development, testing and deployment processes.Collaborate with international development teams in an Agile environment.Champion clean code, software craftsmanship and engineering excellence.

The ideal candidate will haveStrong commercial experience with C# .NET and object-oriented programming principles.Excellent understanding of software design patterns and best practices.Strong experience building service-oriented or distributed systems.Advanced MS SQL development skills.Experience using DevOps and CI/CD tooling.Practical knowledge of AI-assisted software development, including enterprise use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI engineering.Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within Agile teams.A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
