Job description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll build AI-enabled software that improves patient recruitment, modernises clinical trial delivery and helps accelerate access to life-changing treatments through scalable, user-focused technology., As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll own significant areas of the platform across the full software development lifecycle, from understanding user and product requirements through to production delivery and ongoing improvement. You’ll work across frontend, backend and cloud technologies to design secure, scalable applications that solve complex challenges within clinical research. You’ll collaborate closely with product leadership to shape technical solutions, influence architectural decisions and establish engineering best practices. AI forms part of both the product and the development process, so you’ll contribute to carefully governed AI-assisted workflows while maintaining high standards for quality, privacy, traceability and security. Requirements

  • Commercial experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Full Stack Software Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of React, Next.js, TypeScript and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience developing backend services using Python and FastAPI.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker and AWS.
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative, product-focused approach. Nice-to-Have

  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences or regulated software environments.
  • Knowledge of clinical trial platforms, medical data or healthcare technology.
  • Exposure to AI, large language models or AI-assisted software development.
  • Experience with Playwright, Pulumi or modern DevOps practices.
