Job description

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance software using modern engineering practices.
  • Develop distributed backend services in Java.
  • Build intuitive, responsive front ends using React and TypeScript.
  • Deliver data-driven features that improve user workflows and client engagement.
  • Help evolve a strategic front-office platform through clean architecture and thoughtful engineering.
  • Collaborate closely with product, business and engineering teams to turn ideas into production-ready solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering experience delivering complex applications in agile environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java Development.
  • Experience within Financial Services environments.
  • A solid foundation in object-oriented and/or functional programming.
  • Experience with engineering best practices including TDD, continuous integration, automated testing and collaborative development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, observability and operating production systems.
  • An understanding of front-office technology, capital markets or Fixed Income & Currencies (FX, Rates, Credit or Emerging Markets) is advantageous
