Requirements

A leading private wealth business is seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst to join its Business Solutions & Data Analytics (BSDA) team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.This role will support the ongoing development of the firm’s Data Warehouse framework and play a key part in expanding data insights across the organisation. You’ll work closely with the Data Solutions Manager and senior stakeholders across Operations, Risk & Compliance, Projects, and Front Office teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Power BI capability, solid SQL skills, and proven experience within private wealth or wider financial services. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports, including SQL-based data models.Support and coordinate delivery across the Data Warehouse project, ensuring priorities align with business needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into clear specifications.Mentor junior team members and act as a go-to resource for Power BI and data-related queries.Promote data-driven decision-making and work closely with BSDA, IT and Project teams.Contribute to building a positive, collaborative team culture. Required Skills & Experience3+ years’ experience in BI and data warehousing within financial services (private wealth strongly preferred).Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, data modelling).Strong SQL and data transformation capability.Experience with CRM, portfolio management and risk monitoring systems.Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Beneficial KnowledgePulse/SymphonyXPLANBita RiskFirst RatePowerAppsUnderstanding of AI applications in financial services
