Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps)

Job DescriptionSenior Platform Engineer I am currently recruiting for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a leading financial services organisation based in the UK. Within this role, the candidate must have a strong background of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes (GKE), and have experience working with CI/CD concepts and tools.Salary - Up to £72,000 + strong benefits (including share options worth over £13,000 annually)Location - Fully Remote Working - with occasional travel if required onsiteMain Duties Design and deliver infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform, enabling scalable and secure environments Manage and deploy application workloads to GKE clusters using Helm charts, supporting best practices in workload isolation and service configurations Support the engineering community by defining infrastructure standards, reusable tooling, and shared CI/CD workflows Develop and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps promoting automation across delivery pipelinesExperience Required Strong hands on experience of GCP and Kubernetes (GKE) Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and practical experience with tools like Azure DevOps Excellent mentorship skills - someone who has previously managed and mentored more junior team members An understanding of shared service architecture, security and access control patternsReasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
