Project Manager Digital Transformation & Artificial Intelligence

In this role, you will drive digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence and automation across Supplier Quality, Procurement, related business functions, and multiple Business Areas. You will be responsible for managing complex projects, identifying opportunities for AI-driven improvements, and supporting the implementation of scalable digital solutions. By collaborating with business stakeholders, IT experts, process owners, and external partners, you will help translate business challenges into innovative solutions that create measurable value.

This position is available immediately on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours per week). A permanent transfer to our client’s company is intended.

Your Responsibilities as a Project Manager Digital Transformation & Artificial Intelligence (f/m/d):

In this responsible position, you will take on a wide range of tasks within your area of expertise. Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing digital transformation projects from initial concept development through implementation and scaling, ensuring sustainable results and business value.
• Identifying and assessing AI and automation opportunities across Supplier Quality, Procurement, and other business areas to enable efficient and standardized processes.
• Developing project plans, business cases, roadmaps, KPIs, and implementation strategies while coordinating timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Bringing together international, cross-functional teams and external partners to define requirements and deliver effective digital solutions.
• Supporting the evaluation, piloting, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, and automation technologies within business processes.
• Translating operational challenges into practical solution concepts and supporting the adoption of new digital approaches throughout the organization.
• Ensuring responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI technologies while promoting data-driven decision-making.

• A Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline provides the basis for your expertise.
• Several years of experience in project management, digital transformation, automation, or process optimization within an international environment characterize your professional background.
• Strong skills in project execution, stakeholder management, and communication enable you to successfully lead cross-functional teams and support organizational change.
• A comprehensive understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation, and data-driven process improvement allows you to develop scalable digital solutions based on business requirements.
• Hands-on experience in designing, configuring, testing, or implementing AI-based and data-driven solutions, ideally with technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, RPA, Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Excellent English skills, a structured and proactive working approach, strong collaboration abilities, an innovative mindset, and willingness to travel internationally up to 25% complete your profile.
