Job description

  • Lead developer of automated tools to evaluate safety, security, and reliability of connected robotic systems
  • Design and productization of proof-of-concept demonstrators
  • Strategic development of novel commercial TIC service offerings
  • Hands-on software development and hardware integration where necessary
  • Draft design documents, requirements and guidelines
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members
  • Liaise with internal and external business stakeholders and represent TÜV SÜD at industry forums, standardization committees, and special interest groups

Requirements

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualification
  • More than 3 years of relevant work experience in industry or academia programming robots
  • Strong in system modeling and abstract thinking
  • Practical software engineering experience with C++, Python and ROS in a Linux or Unix environment
  • Experience in software testing and system validation
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong communications skills, fluent in German and English (oral and written)
