Job description

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the long-term vision and prioritize the development backlog based on market and customer needs, regulatory requirements (OCPP, OCPI, ISO 15118, MaStR, etc.) and business objectives.

  • Domain Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert for charging infrastructure standards, driver applications, control interfaces and backend integrations.
  • Delivery: Manage international R&D resources across geographies, keep specifications and timelines current, and ensure features land on time and to spec.
  • Documentation and Coordination: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to product specifications, requirements, and project timelines. Coordinate communication and meetings between various stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress. Manage international R&D resources and ensure feature delivery.
  • Go-to-Market Execution: Develop pricing and packaging strategies, and enable sales and customer support teams prior to product releases.
  • Customer Loop: Run close feedback cycles with sales, operations, and customer support across pre-sale, commissioning, and post-sale phases. Turn field issues into product improvements.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor products and industry trends to understand market dynamics and identify potential areas of differentiation or improvement for our products.
  • Analytics & Performance: Define and track KPIs for uptime, transaction volumes, revenue, user adoption and general product performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Systems, or Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen). Equivalent professional experience in EV charging or energy software considered can be considered
  • Proficiency and strong background in cloud-based backend systems and charging relevant protocols
  • Proven track record as a Product Manager or Product Owner, shipped software products, not just documented them.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; strong communication across engineering, commercial, and executive audiences.
  • Ability to operate across cultures and time zones (our R&D is international).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a desire to contribute to the success of cutting-edge products

Desirable:

  • EV charging market experience (CPO, eMSP, OEM, or platform side).
  • Familiarity with ISO 15118 / Plug & Charge, Hubject roaming, or smart-charging use cases (PV, BESS, dynamic tariffs).
  • German language skills.
