Full Stack Java Developer - Hybrid

This role is for a seasoned full-stack developer with deep expertise in API design, implementation, and integration across distributed systems. The ideal candidate will build and maintain responsive, user-centric web interfaces while developing scalable backend services using Java and microservice architectures. A strong understanding of database engineering, system reliability, and automated testing is essential for success in this cross-functional team., * Build and maintain responsive, user-centric web interfaces and develop scalable backend services

• Design and build API-driven services, including RESTful APIs and microservice-based solutions
• Translate macro-level business and platform requirements into clear, actionable technical designs and deliverables
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and contribute to architecture discussions
• Uphold engineering best practices, with a strong emphasis on automated testing to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Develop UI components and backend APIs with database interaction

• 6+ years of overall IT and software engineering experience
• 4+ years of experience designing and building API-driven services
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework)
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures in Java
• Experience with distributed systems (resiliency, fault tolerance, scalability) and cloud-native application architecture
• Experience with backend data access (JPA/Hibernate, SQL/NoSQL integration)
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (HTML5, CSS3)
• Experience with at least one modern, globally supported front-end framework (e.g., React)
• Strong background in database schema design, performance tuning, and optimization
• Proficiency with Git and modern source-control workflows
• Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week

Desired skills:

• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with automated testing methodologies, particularly with tools such as TOSCA
• Experience with enterprise databases such as MSSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
• Experience with Ansible, REDIS, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with enterprise automation and orchestration platforms (e.g., Ansible, BMC TrueSight Orchestrator)
• Working knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL processes
