Job description
As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for securing and supporting a large-scale hybrid enterprise infrastructure spanning on-premises and Azure cloud environments. You will lead network security operations, incident response, threat detection, firewall management, and security architecture initiatives to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and services., * Design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures across on-premises and Azure environments.
- Lead network security incident investigations, containment, and remediation activities.
- Review and manage firewall and WAF configurations to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms and threat detection tools.
- Conduct network security assessments and vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Perform proactive threat hunting, anomaly detection, and risk mitigation activities.
- Support penetration testing initiatives and coordinate remediation actions.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, network diagrams, firewall rules, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot complex network and security issues during outages and critical incidents.

Requirements
- Strong experience with enterprise networking, network security, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Expertise in Azure Networking, ExpressRoute, SD-WAN, and large-scale enterprise infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, Azure WAF, F5 BIG-IP, F5 Distributed Cloud, Cisco VPN, and GlobalProtect.
- Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
- Proven experience in incident response, security investigations, threat intelligence, monitoring, and log analysis.
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management, remediation processes, and tools such as Nessus, Tenable, or Microsoft Defender.
- Experience with Active Directory, MFA, Conditional Access, certificates, and identity security controls.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards including NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, SEC530, and Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with Cisco ISE, NAC, 802.1X, RADIUS, and TACACS authentication technologies.
- Strong communication, documentation, troubleshooting, and mentoring skills; Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) and Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700) certifications preferred.
