Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field\n
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical roofing or construction role\n
  • 5+ years of experience working in a customer-facing environment\n
  • Registered Roof Observer (RRO) or Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) preferred\n, * Strong understanding of low-slope roofing systems, materials, and industry practices\n
  • Knowledge of commercial construction processes and stakeholder roles\n
  • Familiarity with legal and compliance considerations in construction and roofing\n, * Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal\n
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities\n
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)\n
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities\n
  • Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences\n
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills\n

In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. \n \n \nTechnical Roofing Specialist (Guarantee & Systems)\n \n Johns Manville - Roofing Systems Division\n \n \nAbout the Role\n \n Johns Manville is seeking a \nTechnical Roofing Specialist to ensure our customers receive exceptional support across all technical and guarantee-related matters.   • Serve as a trusted expert by responding to technical and guarantee inquiries accurately and promptly\n
  • Partner with customers to evaluate roofing conditions and identify practical, effective solutions\n

\n \nSystem Evaluation & Recommendations\n \n \n

  • Assess unique roofing situations and recommend best practices, including deviations from standard specifications where appropriate\n
  • Review construction documents with a focus on roofing systems and compliance\n

  • Evaluate guarantee applications and determine eligibility based on JM standards\n
