Job description

Design and implement AI-assisted IDE features and developer tooling capabilities

  • Integrate agent-based systems to automate repetitive developer tasks, including code reviews, unit test generation, and code quality analysis
  • Experiment with autonomous or semi-autonomous agents to enhance development workflows
  • Integrate new tools into existing development platforms and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with customers and teammates to gather feedback and iterate on solutions
  • Measure and document the effectiveness of tooling improvements to inform future development

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)

  • 12 years of experience in software development
  • Strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages
  • Experience with IDEs, developer tools, or build and test systems
  • Hands-on experience with AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents
  • Ability to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling
  • Solid understanding of software development workflows and best practices

Salary range: $170,000 - $240,000 Disclaimer: Salary for this position, along with additional compensation options, will be determined on an individual basis following the interview process, considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education/certifications, contract specifications, market conditions, etc.
